How much does it cost?
This will be better defined after we’ve had our initial call because it depends on what you’re looking for and what’s needed to get the best results for you. The audio options are cheaper than the film because less labour and editing time is involved, as a starting point. Contacting us is obligation and cost free.

How long does it take?
Once you’ve settled on either the audio or film option, it takes a few weeks to get to final product, depending on everyone’s availability. Taking time to go through the mapping tools is important because this shapes the final product considerably. Recording takes a few hours. Editing the final product and sharing edits with you can also take some time.
Where do we record the film or audio?
My Film Story comes to you. Recording at your home or where you feel the most comfortable is important. If this isn't possible, we'll find a solution that works. We need a space that is quiet and where we can set up lights and cameras.
Can I give this as a gift to someone?
Gifting this to someone is a great way to acknowledge how special they are. Gifting this for milestone birthdays, retirement or anniversaries is a good idea, because it adds another layer of meaning to the final product for the individual and their families. Father’s Day, Mother's Day and Christmas are also ideal for this unique forever gift.

How do I watch the film with my family and friends?
With modern technology there are a variety of ways to watch or listen to the final recording. As part of the packages, a gift boxed USB is included which can be plugged into the back of your digital TV. We record in high definition or 4K resolution, so your TV will be the perfect place to show it or listen to the recording.
We can also use online platforms to share the film, so you can watch it on your laptop, devices or cast to your TV. You’ll also be able to save the files to your social media accounts and video sharing platforms, which enables you to share your story easily. We’ll define what works best for you as we get to the end of the process.
